"The cat sat on the mat..." but are we 100% sure?"The Cat and The Mat" is an attempt to mix Schrödinger's paradox and the eclectic humour of Kurt Vonnegut's novels. It aims to uncover the absurdity of mundane life by showing its inherent comical yet tragic contradictions. A cat can be both alive and dead at the same time. It can exist both in the future and in the past or live in multiple colliding universes at the same time. There is no point in asking "Why?", it might only be possible to explain "How?". In short, this animation attempts to enter the realm of existence where the line between life and dream has faded away.
